‘The Flash’ episode 12 preview: Cisco’s choice with the Pied Piper

At the end of this past episode of “The Flash,” Cisco Ramon was faced with what seemed to be a pretty complicated choice: Either keep the Pied Piper a.k.a. Hartley Rathaway in prison to rot out his days, or listen to his offer. After all, the man claims that he has information on Firestorm, and given the history with Ronnie Raymond and also his desire to probably have the man back to his former self, it does make a little sense that he would want to take a risk.

With that being said, Cisco may be figuring out during this episode (entitled “Crazy For You”) that letting the Piper run free was a risk not worth taking. As the Twitter comic preview points out effectively, Hartley looks to find a way to escape Cisco, and leave him sprawled out on the ground. This is not exactly good news for those hoping to see this move work out.

Regardless of the specific outcome of this decision, we still have every reason to believe that there are some great things coming up in the future when talking about Firestorm. We know that he will be a big character over the next four or five episodes in particular, as we start to learn more about who he now is, and whether or not Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein find it useful to live together fused into the same form, or alone, where they are more vulnerable. As to how many answers Tuesday will bring, that is to be seen.
