We’re back once again with yet another Sunday roundup of “Madam Secretary” news, reminding you first and foremost that there is no new episode airing on CBS tonight. With that being said, can you necessarily be that surprised by that? You really shouldn’t be, given that this is Super Bowl Sunday. The only competitors airing anything tonight are ones like Showtime and PBS, which either are funded through subscribers or the public and are therefore, they are not losing any ad revenue. Quick reminder: The Tea Leoni series will return on March 1.
Now, how about a new episode title? We shared some with you last week, along with possible meanings for them and now we’ve got one more for you. The March 22 installment of the series, which is the 17th one of the season, is entitled “Face the Nation.” We were able to come up with deep analysis of some of the other titles, but regrettably, there is really not a whole lot that you can really say about this one. After all, isn’t the title more or less self-explanatory? CBS even has a morning show entitled this very same thing.
For those wanting to watch the best of Tea Leoni’s Elizabeth right now, CBS has also created a video playlist over at the link here, so be sure to check that out if you are a fan. Maybe for some of you it will be a nice alternative to watching the Super Bowl if you are not a football fan.
Hopefully, we will have some further news to share in the weeks ahead. We imagine that the network will put out a synopsis or two by around the middle of the month.
