‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: New photos of Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Maisie Williams, more

Someone at HBO must be feeling rather generous this week. Not only was the first trailer released for season 5 of “Game of Thrones,” but we also have an opportunity to see some brand-new images featuring most of the primary cast members. What’s not worth checking out here?

We cannot exactly say that there is anything that is altogether a spoiler from these images at all. As a matter of fact, even Arya (Maisie Williams) is still seen in her familiar outfit, even though we know that she will be getting a makeover at some point during a certain. The outfit for Dany (Emilia Clarke) looks like it may have been made out of curtains, while it is clear that Sansa (Sophie Turner) is still doing her best impression of an evil person. At least these are all of good quality, and they show that for some characters, we are picking up right where we left off.

The ten-episode fifth season will start airing on HBO come Sunday, April 12, and you can expect a variety of stunning moments from start to finish. While there may not be another Red or Purple Wedding, trust us when we say that there is still quite a bit of other great content worth watching out for.

Hopefully, we are also going to have some other photos from the new season, coupled with hopefully another trailer or two. Why wouldn’t HBO break from some of the patterns that they’ve done in past years?
