‘The Blacklist’ season 2 video: Watch behind-the-scenes video with Megan Boone, James Spader, more
Sunday night marks Super Bowl XLIX, but for fans of “The Blacklist,” it more importantly marks the first opportunity for them to see their beloved characters back on TV again. Isn’t that worth celebrating and then some?
NBC seems very much invested into turning their big episode into an event, judging in part from the new, extended video that we have for you below. This runs for nearly 30 minutes, but you get more of a taste behind the scenes of the show than anything that you have seen to date. It is hosted by Amir Arison, and features interviews with James Spader, Megan Boone, and many more. If this show is your guilty or not-so-guilty pleasure, we recommend watching it either way.
The only flaw with this video is that whoever did the sound mix on it messed things up to a certain degree. After all, it is rather difficult to hear Arison speak at times, and the music is a little loud.
Just in case you have not heard yet, tomorrow night’s episode “Luther Braxton: Part I” features Ron Perlman as the Big Bad, a notorious thief who is considered to be Red’s “worst nightmare” in a way. He is going to gain power, and then use that to chip away at Red minute by minute. Perlman will again appear in the February 5 episode, which will be in its new timeslot of Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. We still question the move to pair the show against “Scandal,” but recognize that NBC is desperate to reclaim a night that they dominated with comedies so many years ago. “The Office” was the last time their Thursdays were relevant.
