‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 14 preview: The police brutality question is raised
Given the climate out there towards the police, in particular in New York City, we do imagine that police brutality is going to be a topic discussed on a variety of different shows. “Blue Bloods” just happens to be one where it feels the most appropriate to come up. This is not so much a crime-solving show so much as it is a show about issues that officers face, and there is a big one coming up for Jamie in the next new episode.
As the preview video below shows, what happens when he is accused of such an act while inside of a hospital, no less? He has to deal with possible ramifications there. Also, in this episode Danny and Baez are going to have their hands full with a case that could raise all sorts of questions when it comes to class. For more on that subject, take a look at the attached synopsis:
“Danny and Baez investigate a murder of a lower income resident in a luxury building where 20 percent of the units are made affordable for lower income housing. Also, Frank takes issue with a detective friend of Gormley’s who takes advantage of his position with legal loopholes.”
In the end, it does definitely feel like with this episode in particular, there is quite a bit going on. We would not expect a whole lot else given that we are talking about the November sweeps here.
