‘The Voice’ UK preview: Ciaran O’Driscoll sends shockwaves through the coaches
When “The Voice” UK airs its next new episode on Saturday, we can tell you right now that a few of the coaches are going to be shocked. It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to figure that out after watching the new video preview for this installment below.
While the BBC were not exactly kind enough to give you the name of the operatic man singing “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These),” we can still tell you right now that this man is none other than Ciaran O’Driscoll. He’s clearly a very-talented man who brings a whole lot to the table, and has the coaches rather impressed with what he can do.
While we’ve said all of this, there is still not necessarily anything in here that serves as definitive proof that Ciaran (who has the same first name as the guy who plays Mance Rayder on “Game of Thrones”) is going to get full interest from all of the coaches.
What we really hope for with this episode is the same thing that we hope for when it comes to most of them right now: Someone to really make an impression as more than just a decent singer. This show has yet to launch a star, and given that the winners here don’t seem to have the same support system that the “X Factor” ones do, they need to compensate for that in some other creative manner. We’ll have to wait and see.

So, Ciaran gave the Voice judges five/six amazing voices to choose from, and he did not get them to turn round because there were too many voices????? I thought this programme was about the “Voice”? Surely had any of them picked him they could have coached in whatever voice they preferred and would have made this series so much more entertaining. I was blown away by Ciaran’s performance and cannot believe no one turned. They only seem to pick the safe voices. I cant believe this, and wish Ciaran all the best as I know that he will go far without the help of the Voice. Good Luck Ciaran. I am still watching this episode and am so bored by what has followed that I am turning my tv off now……
