‘Reign’ season 2 spoilers: More on Amy Brenneman’s return
Amy Brenneman is a pretty busy woman right now given her role on HBO’s “The Leftovers,” so with that in mind, shouldn’t you be thrilled to see her back on “Reign” for at least one more episode? We know that we are.
For now, let’s go ahead and share with you some more of the information that we know about her return. She will be in the upcoming February 19th episode entitled “Forbidden,” and you can see some further news in terms of what to expect via our synopsis below:
“Mary’s (Adelaide Kane) mother (guest star Amy Brenneman) returns to advise Mary that her throne is in jeopardy. Mary makes a shocking proposition to Condé (Sean Teale), along with a bold move to reclaim her throne. Francis (Toby Regbo) moves closer to Lola (Anna Popplewell) after a setback with Mary, while King Antoine (guest star Ben Aldridge) makes Kenna (Caitlin Stasey) an interesting offer.”
There is obviously going to be a lot going on this season as time passes, and the battle over Mary’s throne will be one of the larger components of that. As a whole, though, this is just something that Mary should really prepare herself for on an almost-permanent level. Just so long as she is breathing, there are probably going to be many people out there who are hungry to seize power away from her. Hopefully, this is something to be something that is easier to handle as time passes.
We’ll have some further news soon, so stay tuned!
