‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 13 preview: Howard’s new game about Raj

Thursday night, “The Big Bang Theory” returns! Sound like fun? Well, it seems like in honor of this big occasion, you are also going to get a chance to see Howard have a little bit of fun at Raj’s expense.

In the video below, you can see Howard come up with a brand-new game revolving solely around Kunal Nayyar’s character: Emily, or Cinnamon? Basically, he says a Raj quote, and you have to figure out whether or not he is talking about his girlfriend, or his dog. Here’s a hint: Most of these are about his dog, and they are mostly embarrassing. Still, he says that he and Emily love each other very much, so he’s not too concerned about anything that Howard has to say.

It is nice to see that this character is still around, since the show doesn’t ever feel a whole lot of pressure to show her all of the time. Here is what we currently wonder: Wouldn’t it be a good story to see her social story? It may be too much of a departure for the show, but it would be a really cool test of Raj’s social skills to place him in a situation where he has to get along and meet a whole chorus of new people all at one time. He hasn’t really been forced into doing that just yet.

Ultimately, this game from Howard seems to just be a little gag during the episode, and you’re probably not going to see anything else about it in the episode. We’ll let you know if that changes.
