NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3 spoilers: ‘True Detective’ villain scores another creepy role
“Hannibal” has scored another guest star, and this one comes from the realm of another creepy show in “True Detective.”
According to a new report from TVLine, actor Glenn Fleshler (who was the villain at the center of the HBO show’s first season in Errol) is set to appear on the NBC show as Cordell. He is reportedly quiet, but also very insightful. Also, he serves as the personal nurse for Mason Verger, who is certainly a guy with a history of creepy behavior. (Verger is also going to be played by a different actor during the third season.) While we don’t know if this character will be around for a long, long time, it should be pretty fun while it lasts.
“Hannibal” is already setting the stage for what appears to be a pretty fantastic season, even if we are going to be stuck waiting until the summer in order to see more of the story happen. NBC already announced that the show is not going to be airing until summer. You may have to wait even longer in order to see Fleshler on the show, given that the first part of the season will focus on the search for Hannibal in Europe. The second part of it will be more geared around the Red Dragon story.
Hopefully, there will be some more excellent casting news along the way for the rest of season 3. This show seems to be very adept as it is when it comes to attracting quality talent to the show.
