‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: The lonely party for Kat Graham’s Bonnie

Poor Bonnie. We do feel very much for the character on “The Vampire Diaries” right now, and mostly because she’s having one lonely experience. Kat Graham has really not been given the opportunity to work with her other cast members at all this season save for Ian Somerhalder, and that has to be a very awkward feeling since they are all off doing other scenes with each other.

If nothing else, at least be prepared to see some rather emotional moments coming for the character’s birthday. While she may not be the rest of the gang, they are going to come up with what we feel is a pretty fun way to keep her spirit alive with them … especially now that they know a little bit more about where she is and what she is up to. At the same time, Bonnie’s going to throw a part for herself. Sound fun?

Well, speaking to E! News in a new interview, executive producer Julie Plec had the following to say in terms of what to expect:

“Next time we see Bonnie, it’s her birthday, and her friends are in the spirit of celebrating her even though she’s not with them, putting together a birthday party for her … And she’s putting together a little thing for herself. But you get to see that sense of isolation and loneliness.”

Ultimately, we feel like this will be something fun to watch, but not anywhere near as fun as whenever Bonnie does reunite with everyone else. How long are you really going to make us wait for that? It seems like forever already.
