‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Chris Harrison teases Kelsey Poe – Chris Soules situation
At the end of Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor,” the stage was certainly set for a conflict like no other. Kelsey Poe has started to become more and more of a figure on the show, and it’s not because of her status as a widow or any sort of emotional story. It’s more because of her attitude, and how she is perceived by some of the other women. The only thing that we can tease right now is that there’ll be trouble, and plenty of it.
You saw a little bit of this in the preview after Monday night’s show, but there is certainly much more of it to come! This is something that show host Chris Harrison addressed in a new interview with TV Guide, where he said that what Kelsey has been through may in some ways cause Chris to not pay attention to what would otherwise be some pretty significant warning signs:
“Next week we hit the road, and you’re seeing now the emergence of several women, good and bad. Kelsey will definitely be divisive and a controversial figure going forward. She has an incredibly tough story as a widow. So, it’s hard to attack someone like that, and Chris is protective of her because of that. But she uses it to her favor. It’s a pivotal point where Chris knows everyone and is really starting to have his favorites. Some of them are rising quickly and others are fading.”
If Kelsey does actually want a real shot of winning this show, she better hope that she manages to get a one-on-one date pretty soon. She has not had one yet, and that coupled with being a source of drama in the house could lead to an early exit.
