ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Will Margaux actually get to Emily Thorne?

Emily Thorne has faced off against a whole slew of adversaries since the beginning of “Revenge,” but there are quite a few reasons as to why Margaux is different than most of them. For one, she is not going to kill you or defeat you in a duel. She’s a businesswoman, and her currency is in words and publishing rather than an action of violence. Clearly, she is dangerous, but in a very different way.

As driven as Margaux may be to take down Emily herself after the death of Daniel, she is also not completely careless. That’s why there is no published article yet about what a fraud this woman is. She does not have any proof of Emily’s role in his death yet, and not everyone is being forthcoming.

Speaking to TVLine, Karine Vanasse makes it pretty clear that her character is not going to be giving up at any point in the near future. With that being said, she also suggests that this is going to be a massive struggle unless someone actually starts to open up and lend her a helping hand when it comes to dealing out some of the facts:

“Right now, she only knows Victoria’s version of the facts, so she needs to prove that this girl went too far … She’ll realize that everyone around her is backing Emily up, so Margaux will start to ask, ‘Why is everyone protecting this girl? What is it about her?’”

Margaux may not have that much time, either. Even if the show does get a fifth season (which, given recent ratings, is a tossup at best), the masterminds behind the show are probably going to want to move on to something else. We cannot see them focusing on this feud for too much longer.
