‘Chicago PD’ season 2 spoilers: Sophia Bush’s Lindsay and more mother drama

We have already seen that Erin Lindsay’s mother on “Chicago PD” is not always the best human being, and her relationship with her own daughter is a little bit of further proof when it comes to that.

So what happens when she becomes a little more involved in an investigation? This is probably a question we didn’t even want to really ask, but it will be the focus of the upcoming February 11 episode entitled “Erin’s Mom.” The synopsis below does a pretty good job at laying out some of the basic parameters:

“Bunny (guest star Markie Post) comes to Lindsay (Sophia Bush) concerned about a suspicious repeat customer at her husband’s rental company. This lead brings Intelligence into a case which robbery-homicide has been working for months. Detective Gina Gawronski (guest star Angelique Cabral) downloads their intel to the team, she also happens to be Antonio’s (Jon Seda) former co-worker from Vice.”

Two little things that we will note about this story right now:

1. Cabral has an episode of “Backstrom” coming up, as well, proving that the former “Enlisted” star is pretty much everywhere.

2. Does this mean that Lindsay is back with Intelligence? The synopsis doesn’t mention the task force, but we would tell you (at least at the moment) to not make any assumptions just yet. After all, don’t you know what happens to people with assumptions? Well, let’s just say that it is a bad time for pretty much everyone.
