ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: How much more of Louise’s mother will we see?

To us, there is no question that the character Louise has brought a new injection of life in “Revenge” season 4. She has been at times dramatic, at times mysterious, and above all fun. To us, it doesn’t quite matter that she has some sort of dark skeleton in her past that has not been completely unearthed just yet. What really matters above all else to us is simply that she brings a new dimension to the show that is very much in vein with the surrounding world.

Also, she has brought with her a mother so insane, we do continue to wonder whether or not this woman just wants to see her be a mindless zombie. For the time being, it appears that Elena Satine’s character has come up with a way to outsmart her mom, but is that really going to last? We will find that much out tonight, but also have a new quote from Carolyn Hennesy (who plays the character of her mom) to TVLine that suggests that she would like to be around for the long haul:

“I want her there forever, too! It has thus far been a five-episode arc, of which we’ve seen four. Five comes up on Sunday, so we’ll see. Whatever happens, if it doesn’t go Penelope’s way, I’m hoping she doesn’t take it lying down. She’s capable of much more than we’ve even seen.”

While we don’t know if Penelope Ellis is someone who fits into the show’s world every episode, we would like to see her recur the rest of the season. Of course, we still need to wait and see what the future of the show is beyond this.
