‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ finale spoilers: A teaser, and what we want to see
Despite being at times open with news, “American Horror Story: Freak Show” is keeping the cards close to the vest when it comes to the finale Wednesday. We are still very much in the process of trying to figure out what is going to transpire, but we can give you one big teaser right now: It’s the freak show versus Dandy in a battle for control. Just because he may own it does not mean that they are willing to listen to his orders. The only problem is that he has a rather nasty habit of killing people left and right.
So as for what we’d like to see take place during this all-important “Curtain Call,” we’ve compiled a list of five things that will at least make the conclusion as good as “Asylum’s,” which was in some ways the sister season of this show.
1. At least one or two freak-show performers get a happy ending.
2. Actually find out how Elsa Mars manages to find fame for herself in Los Angeles.
3. Give a nod to a previous season that is not “Asylum.” Ryan Murphy has to start connecting the others somehow.
4. Give a subtle, and not overly obnoxious, clue to what is going to be coming up on the fifth season.
5. If this does turn out to be the last season for Jessica Lange, make sure that her contributions to the series are fully noted with a wonderful episode for her. We’ve felt at times like she has been a little too present on the franchise, but there’s no doubting her overall impact.
