‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: How the two-part Super Bowl episode ends

The Blacklist logo any seasonWe have made it fairly clear already that NBC has big plans with “The Blacklist” starting on Super Bowl Sunday. They have Ron Perlman on board already as a guest star for “Luther Braxton,” which is going to be an intense two-part episode that involves Raymond Reddington in prison, some mysterious guest stars, and presumably even a few hints as to Red and Liz’s relationship by the time the story comes to a close.

We recently shared what is the official synopsis for the first part of the story, and with that, are you read to move forward now to the second? We certainly hope so! The second half of this story airs on Thursday, February 5, and will be the show’s official debut in its new timeslot at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. This one gives you a few more pieces of key information in regards to James Spader’s character, but there is also some scoop on Cooper to go along with it. Take a look below:

“As chaos ensues at the Factory leaving the fate of Red (James Spader) and the task force unknown, FBI boss Cooper (Harry Lennix) struggles to rescue his team from the detention facility. Meanwhile, it’s a race against time to stop Luther Braxton (guest star Ron Perlman) from attaining confidential information.”

While there is not much else in the way of information known about this story just yet, Perlman is the major reason at present for our excitement. The man brings it to almost any project we see him in, and he’s pretty compelling in both hero and villain roles. Therefore, there is a heck of a lot to like here.
