‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kandi Burruss beach party leads to Kenya Moore comments

We admire Kandi Burruss sometimes. After all, this is a woman who clearly wants to do her part to keep the peace among the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but what she runs into time and time again is mostly that nobody else seems to be particularly interested in doing that very thing. After all, they’d rather spend more of their own time making snide comments and getting in the final word.

We get a better sense of that in the sneak peek video, and the best thing that we can say here is that at least this is not a public fight (for once). Instead, Kandi tries to introduce her beach party by saying that the purpose of it is “girl talk,” and for everyone to have a good time without any sort of nasty little arguments taking over the festivities. This sounds great in theory, but then, we have Kenya Moore making confessions where she bashes Porsha Williams repeatedly, claiming that she probably refers to herself often as a “mistress” or a “side chick” in the bedroom.

Had she made this comment in the context of the scene itself, we can only imagine what sort of drama that would have caused.

Above all else, the biggest takeaway so far from this trip to Puerto Rico is mostly that there is far more conflict than we really imagined, and that once again, we have more evidence that for some reason, getting these people in vacation settings does not even remotely translate to mean that they are going to be nicer to each other.
