‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 10 video: Joseph Morgan’s Klaus and a strategy session

If you love “The Originals,” then odds are that you’ve been very much looking forward to the return of the show to The CW. “Set Your Flag on Fire” is Monday night’s new episode, and the latest sneak peek below offers up a little bit of insight into what you can expect.

In this particular scene, you can see Klaus (Joseph Morgan) trying to find a way to look after Cami (Leah Pipes), and also preparing himself to figure out how to ensure that Finn doesn’t come after him now following what happened to Esther. One of the interesting conflicts at the center of the story now is trying to figure out how Klaus handles this position. After all, being a protector is not a role that we would really connect with him the majority of the time. Instead, we’ve seen him occupy a little more of his time and space with trying to be either a villain, or simply looking out for himself. You have to remember that he also has Baby Hope to think about now, and this is way more people than Klaus is used to spending time with.

By the end of this episode, hopefully we’ll learn what Klaus’ plans are in the long-term. Not only that, but we also hope that we start to figure out a little bit more when it comes to scoop on what his future holds specifically with Cami. We’ve wondered for some time what the intentions are of the writers with these characters, but nothing has ever been said.
