‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Chris Soules and Jimmy Kimmel get close … really close

In this edition of things that you can never un-see, we present you with the first photo from Monday night’s “The Bachelor,” which feels like it could be captioned in a million different ways, most of them horrifying.

What in the world are we looking at here? Superficially, the answer is clear. You are looking at two men in Chris Soules and Jimmy Kimmel lathering up for what has to be one of the most awkward showers we’ve ever seen. Chris has a little hair on his chest, and Jimmy does not seem to be enjoying it anywhere near as much as Chris is. Away from that, it’s actually a nice  sign that Chris seems to be taking part of this show with the self-awareness that you would hope he would have. Jimmy is obviously not there to make you think that this is a pressure-cooker of drama. Instead, the reason for him being around is geared towards getting a laugh. Based on this, we feel like we are going to have plenty of laughs and then some.

If nothing else, we give the show’s producers a little bit of credit for trying to mix things up, laugh at themselves, and bring some different people and voices to the table. Above all else, you know that Jimmy has that. It’s also smart cross-promotion for them (and their shows), at the same time.

This episode could feasibly be the last major one that takes place in Los Angeles, since this is around the time that the show starts to travel a little bit.
