‘Shahs of Sunset’ season 4 premiere date revealed; ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ renewed
There were a couple of big announcements made today by Bravo, and so long as you love reality TV, these are probably going to be straight up your alley.
Let’s begin here first and foremost with big news for all fans of “Shahs of Sunset”: The series finally has an official premiere date! After facing numerous delays due to a strike by the show’s editing team, it has finally been confirmed that season 4 is going to premiere on Monday, March 2 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, which is not entirely a timeslot we can endorse. Let’s talk for a minute here about competition. This show will be up against the likes of “The Bachelor” and then “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Voice,” “Scorpion,” “Jane the Virgin,” and eventually “Bates Motel” over on A&E. While some of these shows are not of the same audience, you have at least two other reality shows competing against it at the same time. That part of the equation is in particular not good.
Still, we’re pretty sure that some out there are probably just happy that the show is finally coming on the air, given that for a while, it seemed like we were never going to be able to actually get there.
Meanwhile, it was also confirmed that there is a tenth season coming up of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” which is the longest-running version of the entire Bravo franchise. However, there is not a whole lot of other official news to offer up on the cast, or anything else for the time being.
