‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ finale spoilers: Will someone stop Finn Wittrock’s Dandy?

Dandy MottClearly, the final two episodes of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” are meant to be somewhat of a revolving door when it comes to the ownership situation at the big top. First, it was Elsa Mars who was in charge of her Cabinet of Curiosities. Then, she sold the show to Chester, who ended up being a psychopath who murdered people whenever he did not get his way.

Finally, we turn to Dandy Mott. For some reason (maybe revenge), Elsa decided to allow Finn Wittrock’s dastardly character to take ownership of the freak show at the tail end of last night’s “Show Stoppers,” which is almost certainly bad news for anyone who actually works there. For Jimmy, this is the worst news of all. Dandy will try to rule with many temper tantrums, an iron fist, and even possibly a gun. With all of this being said, isn’t it still possible that someone could revolt against him? We’re sure that they will try, and the question is whether or not it will end up being a success.

We have to admit that we really wish there was more Dandy in the second half of this season. He was set up to be this huge Big Bad sort of character, and then we spent a whole lot of time with both Chester and Stanley … even though neither one of them ended up making it to the final episode.

As of now, the only principal characters still alive are Jimmy, Elsa, Bette and Dot, Desiree, and Dandy. We’ve lost Maggie, Dell, Stanley, Twisty, Gloria, and Ethel already. While many of the minor freak-show characters are still around, they were not always in the spotlight.
