‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Intelligence versus the feds

Wednesday night’s “Chicago PD” is going to show you the cross-section of law enforcement, and to go along with that, what really happens when you have the feds and Intelligence “working together” on a case.

Of course, we say “working together” with quotes surrounding it for a reason. We don’t really think that they are going to be the best of buddies as they go through this process. What may make it even more awkward is the presence of Erin Lindsay at the center of everything. After spending so much time with the PD, she may now be with a task force, and interacting with everyone in a slightly different way.

As riveting as this particular preview may be, it does not do the best job ever of really giving us what we really want to know: What happens with Lindsay and Halstead now? The implication at the end of this past episode is that with her seemingly not working for the same people anymore, the door may be open for the two to become something more than just work associates. However, there need to be some more moves made before we ultimately get to that point.

We’re going to hopefully have some answers to that in this episode, and to go along with that, hopefully some further information on just what will be coming next for these characters. We hope to continue rooting for Lindsay and Halstead for a little while, but before we do anything else, we have to figure out where they stand … and where they want to stand.
