‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ preview: Joan Rivers tribute coming in episode 6

Donald Trump -Tonight, “The Celebrity Apprentice” did not feature any special guest at all in the boardroom. Instead, we were told instead to spend some time with Donald Trump and his children.

This changes next week, and in a way that is rather somber now given the events of the past ten months. Joan Rivers is going to be a big part of next week’s episode, and it was filmed months before she passed away following a series of complications after a procedure. Rivers was a good friend of Trump and of the franchise in many ways. She won the second season of the show, and the interesting thing is that back during that time, it was a fairly controversial win for her. There were many that thought Annie Duke should have won instead, but Joan did end up bringing a whole lot of entertainment to the table. Her “she’s a poker player” rant is still one of the best moments for the franchise ever.

While we are sure that Rivers will bring some of her business sense to the table next week, we also anticipate plenty of humor. After all, would you expect anything different from her given her resume?

As for who are the celebrities in trouble, we’d be worried if we were Lorenzo Lamas, Brandi Glanville, or Shawn Johnson. None of the three have brought much to the table so far, and by that logic, any of them could be fired if they struggle.
