‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Jimmy Kimmel’s surprise (and no Chris Soules ‘who’s in the tent?’ mystery)

We have to say that when it comes to “Bachelor” promos as a whole, we were feeling pretty let down by the one that aired following the new episode on Monday. Think about it for a minute. You have so many great dramatic moments on the season, and then you give us zero drama at all here. What gives?

Instead, what we had was an appearance from someone who is known more for laughs: ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. In many ways, you had to assume that this appearance was coming based on the information we already had. Kimmel had said on his late-night talk show last week that he didn’t want to predict anything this season, as he already had inside information on what transpired. We suppose that this is in a way the culmination of that, however ridiculous it may be.

So how is a guy like Jimmy going to help? It probably just comes with loosening up everyone and taking the pressure off. That’s a tough part of the competition! He is probably a part of either the group date, or will just give Chris some “advice” on the season as a whole.

As for the rest of the episode, it’s anyone’s guess. Our biggest letdown is that there were no further updates on the much-anticipated “tent incident” that took place in the promo for last week, which sparked huge stories and questions about who he was getting seemingly intimate with. Whatever happens there, we just know that it leads to an apology tour that shakes up many of the women, and could question almost everything.
