‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 15 preview: Keegan Allen’s Toby and a big discovery

What is lurking in the forest? This is a question that we are going to have an answer to on Tuesday night’s new “Pretty Little Liars.” Specifically, the question that you may be asking even more than this is what exactly Toby is up to.

Under orders from Tanner, Keegan Allen’s character decides to spend a little bit of time searching for any sort of clues that indicate where Mona’s body could be. What does he find here ultimately? A knife, buried underneath some leaves. He could report it to the police, and have them get a step closer to figuring out what is truly going on here. However, he doesn’t, and then he gives his fellow cops the “all clear.” It is definitely suspicious behavior, especially for someone who is probably trying to come across here as a good guy.

Whatever Toby is up to, the attached photo makes you believe that it sparks an argument between he and his girlfriend. Are they fighting, or is he trying to defend himself? The facial expressions present here are the not the happiest in the world.

Let it be known that we don’t think that Toby is “A” under any circumstance. The show has already gone down that road with this character once, and while they do tend to rotate around stories and familiar themes, it may be a little much for them to just hit up the same shtick here again with this same character. We feel like there are different plans for Toby; you can create conflict for him without him being “A.”
