ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 13 preview: Could Madeleine Stowe, Emily Thorne play teammates?

“Revenge” season 4 will continue its journey next week with a story entitled “Abduction,” and there is going to be one theme at the center of it: Whether or not Emily and Victoria can actually work together for the greater good. It is a crazy thought, and that is what makes this particular story all the more fun!

We feel like we already did a pretty good job of summing up this episode in the paragraph above, but take a look at the attached synopsis anyway: “In order to survive, Emily and Victoria must set aside their grudge, while Jack and David race to save them before they kill each other.” What a tangled weave the show has gotten itself into!

The unfortunate thing is that at this given point in time, we still do not really understand the Malcolm Black story nearly as much as we would like to. There were a few flashbacks scattered throughout here, but not enough to fully satisfy us beyond learning why David never contacted his daughter.

The promo below is further reinforcement of the aforementioned themes, and how Emily and Victoria have to find a way to escape Malcolm’s capture together if they want to have any hope of survival at all. We feel for them, since we know that this is going to be no easy task. For us, it will definitely be interesting to watch unfold, since we are pretty sure that a hiatus is coming up pretty soon for the month of February.
