‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: Taking a look ahead at ‘Cabin Fever’
Even though there is another new episode of “NCIS” airing on CBS come Tuesday night, the network for some reason is playing their cards very close to the vest when it comes to the story this time around.
So we’re going to take a step away from that for a moment, mostly to talk about something else that we always enjoy: Episode title debate! According to a new report coming in now via SpoilerTV, the upcoming 15th episode of this season is going to be “Cabin Fever.” Obviously, there are a lot of different ways that this title can be read or interpreted, but we like to guess that there is a certain amount of madness behind it.
In our brain, the perfect situation that we can see unfolding from here is a story all about some of our favorite characters starting to become just a little bit unhinged, and the ramifications that go along with that. Basically, we want to see something that is a little bit of a bottle episode taking place in a single setting, mostly because that forces you to tell a story that is almost solely about a few characters and cannot rely on anything else.
Now that we’ve said all this, a reminder that this is just our personal perspective. The show can obviously do anything that they want with this story, and the title can be a red herring. We don’t often find that you can draw clues from every one of these titles.

I just want to see more of Tony than the scant screen time he’s been getting. Also, I’m really ticked off with the way they’ve replaced Tony as Gibbs second in command with McGee. If Tony continues to be not much more than the evening’s humor moment while McGee and Gibbs get all the drama, danger, and big stories, there’s really nothing left on the show that I care to see.
As far as Cabin Fever goes, I just hope it’s not another big Gibbs/McGee in danger episode with no one else having much of anything to do. I also hope that it’s not yet another big super Gibbs does everything there is to do and saves the day as everyone else looks on in awe.

After the twist in Episode 11 anything is up for grabs. In my imagination they are all holed up at Gibb’s cabin for some reason and maybe we learn some more back history of each as they go down memory lane? This might be a bit of a lame idea but with NCIS they can twist anything and give you a surprise. I’m game for anything at this point.
