‘Gotham’ episode 12 video: Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue look at Arkham story
Monday night brings another new episode of “Gotham” to the table, and hopefully, this is going to be one to further tell the super-creepy tale about what life is like for Jim Gordon working at the famed Arkham Asylum.
Before we come to that, though, we have another sneak peek video below that offers up a few little teases about the future, albeit in the context of scenes from this past episode “Rogues Gallery.” You do still have new footage from Ben McKenzie (Gordon) and Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock), who each talk extensively about what it was like being a part of this story, and how being at Arkham is a chance for Jim to really change the culture of a place that has adopted as of late a very particular philosophy of operating almost exclusively from within. That means little interference from the police.
Do we imagine Gordon staying there forever? Not exactly, since he is a man with a tendency to use his skills to the best of his advantage. Sooner or later, we do imagine that he will find his way beyond the walls of the institution. For now, though, we very much like him there. It gives him a chance to meet some new people such as Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin), and also see the city from a new perspective.
Let’s hope that this video tides you over for a little while. There is no new episode of the show airing Monday night, most likely due to college football. The next will air a week from Monday over on Fox.
