Jack Coleman has been a bit of a guest-star MVP as of late, with some various stints on “Castle,” “The Vampire Diaries,” and many more shows. Wednesday night, you will have a chance to see the actor on “Chicago PD,” where he will be on board in the rule of Ruzek’s father.
How will this shake things up in terms of the story? Bob Ruzek is the first person to arrive to the scene of a double-murder, and as it turns out, there could be some tension between him and his son when it comes to handing over the case. This is something that you see way more in police politics than almost anywhere else, since there is a certain sort of pride that comes in making sure justice is served. If you discover a horrific crime, you want to be there to put the issue to bed in some way.
While we have not seen the episode yet, it is easy to have confidence in anything featuring Coleman in a substantial role. He has long excelled at these sort of roles that give a complicated range of emotions. He can definitely play the good guy, but more often than not, his characters have a darker edge to them. It is to be seen if the same can be said here.
As for the rest of this episode, the one bit of advice we would give you is to watch out for the Lindsay story. It seems like she is beginning work with the task force finally, but will she actually stick with that gig? There are many reasons why her mind could be changed, and maybe Halstead is one of them.
