‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 10 video: Malcolm Merlyn footage in ‘Left Behind’ trailer

Arrow -Slowly and surely, The CW is revealing more and more information on the “Arrow” winter premiere “Left Behind” (airing a week from Wednesday), and it looks pretty darn awesome.

For the newest extended promo, you’ve seen most of the footage before, including the tunnel sequence, the teases of Laurel Lance preparing to be Black Canary, and the threats for the Glades to be completely conquered. The new footage comes courtesy of Malcolm Merlyn at the start of the trailer, who seems to confirm to the Arrow-Cave (yep, still calling it that) what exactly happened to Oliver. He tells them that he is dead, but we’re right there with you when it comes to not believing it.

For us, one of the larger questions surrounding the Oliver story at the moment is pretty simple: How long are producers going to dangle the carrot surrounding Oliver? How long do you keep him away? Also, how do you bring him back that makes his absence matter? If Oliver is somehow revived, there has to be some sort of consequence to it that makes it particularly interesting.

Unfortunately for those of you spoiler-lovers, you are probably going to have to wait until the show returns for something further on this development. After all, we don’t really see the show being in any hurry to reveal anything here. After all, there are 23 episodes in a season, and there is more than half of this season still to go.

Stay tuned, as we will have some further “Arrow” news as it becomes available.
