‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 9 review: Alan’s jealous of … Herb?

Louis -Tonight on CBS, “Two and a Half Men” returned with new episodes, and it brought a variety of different subjects to the table. For example, did Walden Schmidt find a way to ruin yet another chance at romance?

Ultimately, it seemed that way. It was issues related to his child Louis that ultimately caused things to go south … at least at first. Somehow, Ashton Kutcher’s character still found a way to have sex with someone, who mostly just seemed to be doing it out of a dare that she wouldn’t back up her claims about being great in the sack.

The Walden story had a laugh or two, but really didn’t go anywhere. Meanwhile, the Alan story was basically Judith all over again, at least in that once again, we have Herb dating one of his exes. This time around, it’s Lyndsey. After Alan forbade her from dating his friend, he instantly became “forbidden fruit” and was that much more attractive. We love Ryan Stiles, but we would like to see Alan get at least somewhat closer to his endgame for the show.

This is the ultimate struggle right now when it comes to the series. Given how close we are to the end of the series, we really want to see a point here where the show makes some broadcast to get us closer to the end. We really did not have that at all during this episode. Hopefully, something more will happen next week. Grade: C.
