ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Will Elena Satine – Emily VanCamp’s paths cross?

Straight off of the news that Elena Satine has been promoted to series regular on “Revenge” season 4, how about some more news all about what is coming up in the future?

For those of you who want to see the character spending a little bit more time with Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), have no fear: It appears that this particular moment is coming up at some point in the relatively-near future. Show boss Sunil Nayar chatted recently to E! News on the subject of these two characters, and he had the following to say:

“Right now, they seem to be on two separate tracks, but our goal is to get them altogether, so Emily will eventually cross into Louise’s world.”

What we really like about the idea of Louise alongside Emily is that more than any other character on the show, she brings an element of great unpredictability to things. You don’t quite know just what Louise is going to be up to most of the time, and that is a hard thing for Emily to figure out. If these two characters clash, then it could be chaos and something very frustrating for Emily to deal with.

After all, doesn’t Emily have enough on her plate as it is? Think about it. She has to worry about the arrival of Malcolm Black to the Hamptons, the mysteries surrounding David Clarke, and of course Victoria Grayson. She is a woman who Emily has had to basically be worried about ever since the days of the pilot on the show.
