ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion celebrate wins at PCAs

The People’s Choice Awards turned out to be quite the night for many TV actors Wednesday, but this is especially true for the entire cast and crew of “Castle.” Not only did the show win a trophy, but so did series stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.

Therefore, what better thing to do than celebrate? After the show last night, Stana created a personal video on her YouTube thanking her fans who chose to vote for her, and it’s a really sweet, personal speech. We much prefer these to the ones where you are rushed off of the stage to loud music and you don’t really have a whole lot of time at all to say anything personal.

Fillion also posted a message on Twitter, which you can see below. Both stars are certainly grateful, as they should be. It takes a lot of hard work to make 22+ episodes of a show a season, and it includes super-long hours and sometimes having to test your physical and mental limits. Also, you have to continually try to handle the extremely high expectations that those around you have for you to succeed. Over time, this proves to be no easy task when you produce episodes that are of higher and higher quality as time goes by.

“Castle” will be back on the air Monday night with “Castle P.I.,” an episode that on the surface feels like it would have almost everything that diehard fans of the show would want. There will be plenty of humor, a good story stuffed full of twists, and plenty of reasons in the end for longtime fans to be happy.
