‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ spoilers: Ivanka Trump hints at Kate Gosselin’s future

Is Kate Gosselin going to be in the running on “The Celebrity Apprentice” for a long time? It’s not often that a personality on a reality show actually suggests that someone could be in the running for a while during a season, but that seems to be what Ivanka Trump did recently when discussing the “Kate Plus 8” star’s longevity in the competition.

Rather than discussing what Ivanka says without sharing it first, let’s go ahead and get to that quote, which the businesswoman said in an interview with E! News:

“Wait until you see what Kate has in store … She definitely has a lot of passion and she’s got a lot of fire in her belly. You’ll be seeing a lot more of Kate through the season.”

We don’t think that Kate necessarily had the greatest start to the season, but she also was hindered somewhat by a fundraising task (she doesn’t have the biggest contact list out there) and also one in a technology field that she has no experience in. She did manage to win the latter task, and has Leeza Gibbons in part to thank for it.

We do still feel like Kate could excel in some more creative challenges; specifically, she brings a very strong perspective to the tasks, and she’s also going to be a fighter in the boardroom. Right now, it appears that the biggest rival she has is Brandi Glanville, who seemed to decide during the first task that she wanted to go toe-to-toe with her throughout the season.
