‘Justified’ season 6 spoilers: Jonathan Tucker snags key role in final episodes
Has it settled in for you yet that we are about to watch the final episodes of “Justified”? This is something that admittedly, we are still having a hard time processing. This has been such a huge show over the years for FX, and it is hard to imagine January and February without Raylan and Boyd being a part of it.
The latest casting news gives us at least a little more information about someone who one of the characters could be doing some sort of battle with. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jonathan Tucker (who has probably been plagued over the years by countless “John Tucker must die” jokes) has been booked to play on the show Boon, a man hired to work alongside Sam Elliott’s upcoming character of Avery Markham. He will appear in many of the final episodes of the series, and that makes us think that he is someone both Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins could be spending a little bit of time with.
The final episodes are going to start up on FX come Tuesday, January 20, and the season is at least going to start out with questions surrounding whether or not Raylan can recruit Ava Crowder to inform on Boyd, and whether or not there is a light at the end of the tunnel for either one of them. There’s been a trend lately with shows like “Breaking Bad” and “Sons of Anarchy” where (spoiler alert for those shows) you don’t feel it is possible for the leads to get out alive. Personally here, we’d like to see at least a few important people live on.
