‘The Mentalist’ season 7, episode 7 preview: Lisbon’s brothers; a poker game

Last night, “The Mentalist” showed you more of the story of Dennis Abbott with their new episode “Green Light.” So what is coming up next week on “Little Yellow House”? It’s basically a chance to find out a whole lot more about Teresa Lisbon, including where she came from, and also just what her relationship with her brothers is really like.

These two men are very different from each other, and yet, Lisbon finds herself in a very difficult position as she has to figure out if one of them actually has some guilt at the middle of an investigation. You can see the full promo below, and in case you have not seen the synopsis yet, it is also attached:

“A murder investigation becomes personal for Lisbon when she learns that her underachieving younger brother, Jimmy, is being sought as a key witness, on THE MENTALIST, Wednesday, Jan. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Rob Belushi and Derek Phillips guest star as Jimmy and Stan, Lisbon’s brothers.”

This episode feels like it is going to be fun, mostly because in spite of how long the show has been on the air, there really have not been too many opportunities just yet for Lisbon’s past and her family life to be discussed. This is a nice little window into her world, and it is also interesting for Jane to see where she comes from. After all, if these two ever get married, he will also be a part of this family.

Let’s just hope that after the results of this case are known, nobody is guilty and things for the family can calm down a little.
