‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Who is speaking Sherlock’s language?

ElementaryFans of “Elementary,” rejoice! There is a new episode coming on CBS tomorrow night, and for all of those who love Sherlock and Joan more than any other pair of characters, you’ll probably love what you see in the sneak peek below more so than anything else.

In this particular preview, you can see that Lucy Liu’s character has an understanding of what Sherlock’s bizarre, elaborate short code that he seems to use when sending quick text messages regarding crime scenes. We suppose here that this is ultimately quite the skill in trying to figure out what these say, and luckily, she has learned how to read them properly. Meanwhile, Kitty has not, despite her being with Holmes for at least a little while now. There’s also no indication that she is going to stop her work with Holmes anytime soon, which is something we did not expect moving into this season.

Ultimately, the story for this episode is going to tie very much into Joan’s past, as a nurse she at one point worked with is going to become involved in a case somehow. Many details here are still unclear, but we’re down for any episode that puts her in the spotlight. Now, we just have to hope that the ratings improve a little bit now the show is away from the holiday season.

Stay tuned, as we’re going to get some further news when it comes to “Elementary” moving forward, including some more previews of everything that is coming up the rest of the season. There are some crazy things ahead!
