‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5: See Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander in new promo

Why can’t Tuesday, February 17 come any sooner? We really wish that it could, given that this does mark the official return date for “Rizzoli & Isles.” Hopefully, the latest promo released by TNT will help to at least make that wait slightly more entertaining.

We’re not going to sugarcoat anything when it comes to this promo, given that it does not exactly give away much at all. Really, the appeal of this show is just to remind you that there are some fun times ahead, and you may smile more in the second half of this season after going through so many dark times in the first half with all of the death and devastation.

Also, we feel like this is meant to serve as yet another reminder that when the dust settles, this is ultimately a show about a friendship between two people who have been through quite a bit while on the job, and probably will continue to go through a lot. Luckily, they can each know that there is someone they can rely on at each step of the way.

As we’ve said before pretty recently, you can watch these new episodes feeling pretty comfortable about where things stand when it comes to the show’s future. After all, we have already seen a renewal for season 6, and that is going to premiere at some point during the summer. Given the success of the show, this feels like one that will last as long as the people involved want for it to.
