‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 12 preview: Sheldon, Leonard try something diffrent

Are you ready for the return of “The Big Bang Theory” to CBS? We hope so, since this upcoming installment is not too far away from airing at all! Thursday night marks the next chance that you have to see the gang in action, and the story behind this one seems to be very entertaining and then some.

What is it? Basically, we’re looking at something here where Sheldon and Leonard try to take an interest in some of what the ladies like … or we really should say that Leonard takes an interest and drags an unhappy Sheldon along for the ride. It should be noted that before this, Sheldon tries to do what he can to convince the ladies to take part in a healthy game of Risk instead, but as expected, nobody is biting.

There’s not exactly anything on the surface that makes this episode look like it is reinventing the wheel, but we’re not really asking for it to. Instead, more of the charm in this particular installment may just be the joy in seeing the show back on the air again after the hiatus. We don’t anticipate any big moves soon with Penny’s engagement, but that’s all right so long as they keep moving in a reasonably positive direction.

As for Sheldon and Amy, she at least knows that he loves her, and while she certainly should want more, this has to be a heck of a foundation for the two to continue to work and build on. We’ll just have to see where this story goes from here.
