‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: More on Felicia Day’s upcoming return

As per usual, there are a variety of different stories that you can expect to see on “Supernatural” within the first few episodes of the new season. Of course, there will be some time devoted to see what happens with the Mark of Cain, and at some point, Timothy Omundson is going to make his glorious return, as well.

But what about more standalone episodes? Felicia Day has already filmed another return appearance as Charlie, and that is something that is pretty common knowledge at this point. Her return from Oz is going to be filled with trouble, and we have a few more details about just what this return really means. Speaking to TVLine, co-executive producer Robbie Thompson (behind some of our favorite episodes) explains:

“She’s brought something back that’s very dangerous. She teams up with the boys to track that dangerous thing down and hunt with them, basically.”

There is a part of us that someday would like to see someone like Charlie or Sheriff Mills be a part of a larger story arc. While we’re not saying that they have to become regulars, what would it look like to see one of these recurring favorites take part in a slightly-larger case? We have this bizarre vision in our head of there being some massive showdown at some point in the show’s run, with Sam and Dean assembling an army of all of their acquaintances over the years to try to take the force on. It’d be a fun little reunion of sorts, and give the show an even more epic feel.

Now that we’ve said that, we’ll just enjoy the upcoming Charlie episode for what it is, even if we don’t see a whole lot of her for a while afterwards.
