‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 video: Lucy Hale on music, ‘A’ mystery, and much more

With tonight being the winter premiere for “Pretty Little Liars” season 5, there is one thing at the moment that we are definitely seeing, and that is a mini-publicity tour featuring much of the cast.

Today, we’re talking mostly about Lucy Hale, who made an appearance on “Live! with Kelly and Michael” this week to discuss the show briefly, but also a variety of other subjects from her new haircut to what she did over the New Year’s holiday. With her new look, she is now the only member of the Liars who actually has shorter hair, and that feels in a way like a long time coming. While many of the characters have changed their fashion since the beginning, it’s been somewhat shocking just how few hair makeovers we have seen.

Of course, Hale did not answer properly any question about the identity of the ever-mysterious “A,” though she did joke that maybe she was. After all, who wouldn’t want to play the villain as an actor? It is one of the best roles that anyone could possibly take on!

If you are suffering through wondering the answer to this question, show creator Marlene King did hint recently that she plans on letting the world know the answer to this question sooner rather than later; that doesn’t mean this season, but we don’t believe anymore that this will be a secret saved until the final episode of the series.
