‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie face the future

Sleepy -Were you thrilled by the return of “Sleepy Hollow” tonight on Fox? Well, you almost certainly know that this story is far from over! The next installment will shock you at times, but hopeful also delight you and bring in more of that “American history with a twist.” For some reason, that is one of the things that we enjoy the most about the show.

Of course, the bad news is that Fox has decided to not air a new episode next week, probably to avoid NCAA football competition and lower ratings. Therefore, January 19 is the air date for “Pittura Infamante,” and you can take a look at the synopsis from the network below:

“After the mysterious death of an art restorer at the Sleepy Hollow Historical Society Soiree, Ichabod and Katrina are reminded of a dear friend from their past – Abigail Adams (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg). Meanwhile, Abbie is shocked by someone’s visit to the police precinct.”

So what does the title mean? It is a reference, in case you did not know, to a form of art that was meant to desecrate and humiliate someone, but it was stopped centuries ago when some of these started to be thought of more as tributes.

So what is the surprise when it comes to Abbie? All we will say is that we can only hope that it raises the drama and the quality of this show, which seems to be moving back in a good direction after being in a little bit of a sophomore slump earlier this season.
