‘The Flash’ spoilers: A different side of Caitlin Snow

For the most part, Caitlin Snow has been one of the more focused members of STAR Labs since the premiere of “The Flash.” Specifically, she has put almost all of her emphasis on finding a way to help Barry Allen if at all possible, and has put some of her own problems over to the side in order to do so. This includes in many ways her own past, and her “dead” fiance Ronnie Raymond. Now that she knows that Ronnie is alive, but completely unstable mentally, she may finally start to unravel a little bit.

Speaking in a new chat about her story ahead with TVLine, series star Danielle Panabaker lays the course of what should be the path of Caitlin moving into the new year, and how it may end up actually having her do a few things that you would not see coming: “There are some moments – maybe she goes back to a bar? Maybe she makes some bad decisions? – that are really fun.” Sound interesting? It’s at least a chance for her to show us that she doesn’t have to be serious all the time.

With the Caitlin character, there is inevitably going to be questions probably the entire course of the series about if or when she will ever don another persona that is known from the comic books, but for the time being, we don’t get the sense that this is in the immediate future. While “The Flash” has shown no hesitancy speeding things along (pun intended) in terms of some storylines, including the Reverse Flash and Barry’s feelings for Iris, they are holding a few things back for the time being. Maybe, at least for now, we should classify the Killer Frost storyline in the same “wait and see” category as Grodd.
