‘The X Factor’ UK: Simon Cowell, Tulisa, and judging rumors

“The X Factor” would not be “The X Factor” unless there were many people out to spin rumors about it, and sometimes, it does not even matter completely if the show is on the air.

The time for this is now, and it begins with the latest rumor suggesting that Tulisa could possibly return to the show next year. If nothing else, she is interested in it. A sources tells the Express that the pop / dance singer recently made quite a few overtures in a way to get back on the show, and part of that included going to Barbados in order to celebrate New Year’s Eve with Simon Cowell and his entire clan:

“Simon invited Tulisa to fly out and spend time with him on Barbados for New Year so it was a no-brainer for her … She knows she is in the running for a potential X Factor comeback and wants to do everything she can to make it happen.”

Are we feeling confident that this return will happen? At least reasonably so, if for no other reason than that the interest seems to be there on both parties. Tulisa was well-liked when she was around, and there’s also the question as to whether or not Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini will return. Mel B seems to be much more of a lock to come back, given that we’ve heard virtually no news at all about what her future plans are.

Luckily, there is still plenty of time for everything to sort it’s self out. The new season of the singing show will not start airing until next fall, and the audition rounds film following Simon’s time on “Britain’s Got Talent.” Typically, we learn in January if there is a need to replace a judge or two, and then those replacements are announced later in the spring.
