‘Arrow’ season 3: Stephen Amell’s ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ ambition revealed

Arrow -Stephen Amell is man with very specific goals, and we now know that one of them for 2015 is gracing a late-night talk show that has become popular with many: “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

There’s really not a need to weave some sort of elaborate introduction into this particular subject. Instead, let’s just go ahead and get to the meat of it. The “Arrow” star made this desire clear during a Facebook Q&A session with fans, when he explained that there are quite a few reasons for Seth to want to have him on board the show:

“There are actually a number of different shows that I’d like to do, but Seth stands out because, A. Saturday Night Live is my favorite thing and he was a cast member / the head writer, B. I’ve been listening to him on Bill Simmons podcast for several years and C. He and I had an incredibly awkward exchange before the Golden Globes started in 2013 that would be worth retelling on the air. Ok? Ok.”

The great thing about this goal is that we could very much see it happening. Amell as a guest would fit right in with some other people Meyers has had on the show already, and the fact that he is a fan only helps his chances. We suppose that for the most part, the biggest issue here would be scheduling. “Arrow” films in the Vancouver area, while Seth tapes his show in New York. Unless Seth does a week of shows somewhere else or the schedules line up with an “Arrow” filming hiatus, we see the best chance for him to appear being in the spring, after production on season 3 is over.

Then again, maybe Oliver Queen stays dead and Amell suddenly has a clear schedule… but we doubt it.
