ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 11 video: Victoria learns the truth about Daniel

After several weeks off of the air, “Revenge” season 4 returns on Sunday night with new episodes … and a revelation for Victoria Grayson that is sure to be devastating.

In the sneak peek video below, you can get a real sense of what we’re talking about here as she realizes that her son Daniel has been killed. David Clarke calls the police after hearing gunshots at Grayson Manor, and then he and Victoria discover the wreckage: Daniel and Malcolm Black’s daughter Kate dead, while Emily was also injured. Jack seems to be all right, at least physically. Emotionally is a completely different question.

As for where this leaves Victoria and Emily, let’s just say it’s not good. It takes Victoria all of three seconds to blame Emily for what happened, and this is Madeleine Stowe still playing one of the most emotional and fragile versions of the character we’ve seen. Does she care more about herself than anyone else? Without a doubt, but she also did love Daniel and is completely devastated to see him gone.

This episode will also feature the funeral for the character, in addition to David instructing both Victoria and Emily what to do next. There is another sneak peek out there about this already, and he seems to be lecturing the two, as if they do not quite get who they are dealing with and what Malcolm is capable of. He cannot be any worse than some of the other people Emily has collided with, right? She is at least hoping so.

For now, we advise you to get your hankies ready, and prepare for an episode of the show that probably will get you a little teary-eyed.
