‘The Mentalist’ season 7, episode 6 preview: A time slot tease and more (video)
Let’s get the bad news over with right now: If you enjoy “The Mentalist,” you are still going to be waiting for a while to see the next new episode. CBS is not bringing the show on the air Sunday; instead, it will be moving to its all-new timeslot Wednesdays at 8:00. “The Good Wife” will be returning to its normal timeslot, which is in turn the reason for the move.
As for just what you can expect to see when the show does back Wednesday, this new promo does not exactly give much away. We can tell you that Abbott is going to be a huge part of the equation, as he starts to find out that his past will for sure come back to haunt him. He attempted previously to try and hide himself from the reality that it could, and also wanted to ensure that his wife was able to move up in the world professionally.
In the end, the one thing that we’re really hoping to see from “The Mentalist” before it ends is just a chance to see a little story from all of the characters. That obviously means a whole lot more of Jane and Lisbon, but also a fitting end for Cho, as well. We feel like Rigsby and Van Pelt in many ways already have their happily ever after, but seeing them again is still a nice bit of icing on the cake.
In case you are wondering, you will get a chance to see Owain Yeoman and Amanda Righetti near the end of the series.
What do you want to see on “The Mentalist” when it returns? As per always, let us know in the comments!

I agree, we do not have many episodes left, they shouldn’t waste the limited air time left with Abbott back ground or plots of any kind. We care about Lisbon, Jane and Cho. It ends in 7 episodes…So sad. I like Abbot and all but he needs to be limited with his screen time for sure.
