‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ preview: Geraldo Rivera, Brandi Glanville, more talk new season

With the premiere of “The Celebrity Apprentice” coming on NBC Sunday night, our coverage continues today with what may be the most extensive preview of the show so far. There are a few tiny clips in here that allow for some insight into what the season will be, and also interviews with a good majority of the contestants.

One thing that does surprise us right away? Geraldo Rivera apparently has zero shame. The idea of him writhing about in his boxer shorts will haunt us for the rest of the season. Just a warning: You may be slightly shocked after watching the video below!

Away from Geraldo’s underwear, there are a few teases of conflicts that lie ahead. Specifically, Geraldo and Kevin Jonas are going to clash over leadership, while Kate Gosselin is apparently accused at one point of being “lazy,” something she claims she has never been at any point in her life. (We’re guessing a better word here could be “exhausted,” since this competition plus eight children has to be a toll.) Brandi Glanville warns that there could be problems between her and Kenya Moore, but we really haven’t seen any of it yet. We think that she says this with some degree of self-awareness that people expect fighting between the two, and she may not want to disappoint.

Above all else, this looks to be one of the most contentious and competitive seasons we’ve seen in a long time. Regardless of what you may think about Donald Trump and his opinions outside of the boardroom, there’s still something thoroughly entertaining about watching people argue in front of him, only to lead to him making often-irrational decisions about who to fire.
