‘Justified’ season 6 spoilers: Latest promo all about Boyd, Raylan facing off

FX has been rather generous with us over the holidays when it comes to releasing promos for “Justified,” and to see the latest example of this, you don’t have to look a whole lot further than the promo below!

With this one, you get yet another look at what looks to be the huge battle at the center of the show: Raylan versus Boyd. While we’ve seen our fair share of big bads on this series, with some of them being incredibly memorable, it only seems appropriate that the final showdown would between two men who have been at this since the very beginning. We anticipate that the excitement here will build throughout the season, especially when you remember how much Ava Crowder has become an accomplice of sorts to Raylan’s actions.

This promo may not give you a whole lot of a sense of anything new, but it does further illustrate the struggle that Ava has as an informant, knowing that she is facing a grim future almost no matter what she does.

This final season starts on Tuesday, January 20, and its struggle is pretty simple: Can it go out in a fantastic manner? We feel like this show has always been somewhat unheralded, even with the awards recognition that it has received. The positive that comes from that is that it may not feel as much external pressure, or have as many of these cynical finale-watchers out there who are desperate to complain because the showrunner was not able to read their mind.
