ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Who is joining Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion in ‘Castle P.I.’?
Today, ABC released their official details about “Castle P.I.,” the upcoming winter premiere of “Castle” airing on Monday, January 12. Is there any new information? That depends on your perspective.
When it comes to plot details, everything is identical to what you saw in the already-released synopsis for the hour: Castle gets more than he bargained for after deciding to become a private investigator. What we have for you that is new today is a list of the guest stars who will be joining Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Jon Huertas, and the rest of the cast on Castle’s new journey.
Arye Gross – This is the first credited appearance for M.E. Sidney Perlmutter since “The Way of the Ninja” back during the second half of season 6.
Tim Griffin – The actor was a part of NBC’s “Prime Suspect” remake, and has a big role ahead on Fox’s “Wayward Pines.”
Gia Mora – A lesser-known actress, who has many smaller credits along with an episode of “True Detective.”
Heather McComb – McComb has appeared or recurred on a variety of well-known shows over the past decade and a half, whether it be “Party of Five,” “Prison Break,” or “Ray Donovan” on Showtime.
The most high-profile guest star confirmed to be coming is Annie Wesching, who will appear in the February two-parter as Dr. Kelly Nieman, the mysterious plastic surgeon with possible ties to Jerry Tyson. This episode is most likely going to be standalone, and it will be a surprise if there are any long-term storylines addressed.

Another mention of a new story line. Oh what tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive. I guess the show runner and writers have heard that Nathan and Stana have signed new contracts and they will have all of the remainder of season 7 and all of season 8 to resolve all of the outstanding back story lines. Or, they have heard that they will not sign and they will just keep going on their current I chartered and unreasoned route and just say at the end (7×23) “Goodbye it’s been less than great since season 6”.
